This 5-session class is designed for students with beginning
large format photography skills who want to advance to the next level of
working with a large format camera. We will discuss ways to make photographing
with a view camera more seamless and spontaneous, suggest which kind of view
camera is best: monorail, compact field camera, or “press” style camera, based
on each students photographic needs, as well as perfect the perfect shooting
and film processing techniques for the ultimate negative. This class will also
include in the field sessions of photographing in areas surrounding RayKo. While
this is not a darkroom class, attention will also be paid to sheet film
processing. 4x5 camera rental
