Description

This workshop teaches students about color management and how to obtain good color matches across various devices: monitors, scanners, printers, cameras, and software. Topics covered include ICC profiles, embedded and mismatched profiles, working spaces, color translation, rendering intent, and calibration of color devices. We will discuss color management work-flow, trouble shooting, and how to utilize the best practices for various applications. Although this is a lecture-based workshop, a live monitor calibration will be demonstrated for participants.
