This 2-day hands-on workshop is designed for students that have an understanding of studio lighting and want to further their skills of working with professional models, building Photoshop skills, and producing professional quality fashion images. Day one will start with a brief lecture about contemporary fashion photography trends. Students will work as a group to create 2 lighting set ups and proceed to photograph and work for several hours with the models to produce unique images with professional lighting equipment. On day two, students will discuss their images and learn post processing techniques to have print-ready images. Since this workshop is mainly a shooting class, it is limited to 6 students to optimize time to work with models.
PRE-REQ: Students must have taken an intro to studio lighting class or complete RayKo’s studio lighting questionnaire, have solid knowledge of shooting in the manual mode, aperture, shutter speeds and ISO or film speed. Students should also have basic Photoshop skills. Please note, this is not a beginner's class
